Welcome to
Double T Marketing

We are a family-owned and run Digital Marketing Agency of Craig & Kat Tulczyn, which is now located on Queensland’s sunny Gold Coast.
Over the years we have both developed a passion for helping others and lending a hand where needed.
This became a reality when in 2016 we started a Junior Rugby League club in the small country town that we lived in. A town of approx. 700 residents and a wider community of around 1000, there was nothing for the local kids to do after school or on weekends.
From here we aimed to create a better and brighter future for us and our family. We both grew up in an era where having a good, secure job was pretty much the only way of life.
After many years of working our backsides off for someone else’s gain with next to no progression for ourselves, we decided enough was enough. Something had to change.
The online world began calling. We became involved in Affiliate Marketing and Forex Trading, both of which we are still involved in, but our passion to help others began to arise once again.
With our ever-growing knowledge of the online world coupled with the fact that online is fast becoming the ‘new marketing tool’ and Craig needing to change careers, the wheels were set in motion to stay in the digital world and make it our passion.
This is how and why the decision to create our Digital Marketing Agency came to fruition and Double T Marketing was born.

Why Social Media Marketing?

Other than the fact that we now live in a digital world, the internet & more so social media has changed the marketing game massively.
In Australia alone, 79.9% of the population (yes you read that right) are active social media users. That is a mind-blowing 20.5 million fellow Aussie to reach with your marketing campaigns.
Now, if your company wants to, or already does so, conduct business abroad then the potential reach gets blown right out of the water. 53.6% of the global population, which equates to a staggering 4.2 billion humans are active on social media.
Just imagine these figures for a moment & you will see how & why social media is the best choice to take your business to new heights.
Ask yourself this – Are you prepared to leave this opportunity on the table?

Never underestimate the importance of your future

Marketing
at a Glance...

Marketing & marketing strategies have changed massively over the years.
Let’s step back 40 years. Television advertising (marketing) possibly had the biggest audience reach of any marketing strategy available to businesses. But, as this was extremely expensive, it was more suited to the mega-companies or the super-rich.
Then there was newspaper & radio advertising. Although these options were still costly, they were a little more affordable for businesses, but their potential reach was far less than television.
‘Word of mouth’ was, and still is, one of the most effective forms of marketing but the reach of this method is possibly the lowest of all as it is usually contained to a single local area.
Enter the dawn of the internet. The World Wide Web as it was commonly known in its early years. During the earlier years of the internet, the previous marketing strategies were still the go-to methods, but as the internet became more trusted so too did the marketing strategies it offered.
Now, Social Media has become the biggest & most cost-effective marketing strategy for businesses on a global scale. Originally, social media platforms were just as the name states, social, but as they grew so did the opportunity for businesses to promote themselves on the platforms.
Today, Social Media Marketing is potentially the most cost-effective ROI for many businesses throughout Australia & the world.

You are responsible for everything in your life. Own it…

Who is Craig

Growing up in the ’70s & ’80s, life was fairly easy-going & fun, but back then it was drilled into us as kids to get top grades at school so we could either go onto University or get a great, secure, lifelong career.

So naturally, that is what I did. To the best of my ability at least.

I grew up in the Blue Mountains of NSW. As a kid, it was awesome. Bush everywhere, lots of places to explore & discover, tons of room to ride motorbikes (trying to avoid the boys in blue whilst riding).

At 16 I moved to Sydney to begin my apprenticeship as a Fitter & Turner, at a tobacco factory of all places (I was a smoker back then, so I was in heaven lol).

Being from the bush, I wasn’t too fussed about the hustle & bustle of the big smoke, so every weekend was spent back in the mountains, hanging with mates & doing what we knew best.

I guess this was the start of my adventures as I moved around a lot over the years. The Blue Mountains – Sydney – Dubbo – Orange – Bathurst – Gold Coast – Inverell – Tamworth – Mackay QLD – Inverell again – Ashford and now back on the lovely Gold Coast.

While in Bathurst, I had a son & daughter, who are now all grown up with kiddies of their own (5 beautiful granddaughters & an awesome little grandson).

Tamworth is where I thought the beginning of the ultimate life was starting when I managed to get a start in the Mining Industry. At first, it was awesome. Unbelievable money & working outdoors on big arse Tonka toys lol.

This path ended up taking me up to Mackay for a few years where the money was better & the rosters were bloody awesome. No more working Mon – Fri plus Saturdays just to survive. But in time I started realising that things were missing (as I was single at that stage) and that was a life…

In 2011 I met my beautiful wife & partner in crime, Kat. It was not long after this that I realised the long distances weren’t for me anymore. The mining industry is great BUT it is not a family-friendly industry by any means. I knew I wanted out of this game but wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do. I just knew I wanted a better quality of life, as my kids were growing up & starting their own families of their own plus Kat has 2 boys.

2018 changed everything for me. Along came our beautiful little angel/devil (more devil I think lol) Makenna. I had the opportunity to get to spend a lot of time with her after she was born & wanted more.

Just before Makenna was born, I was unfortunate (actually more fortunate) enough to suffer a knee injury at work. This then changed my whole life. After 4 cleanout operations plus an ACL reconstruction in under 4 years. I have now had a Total Knee Replacement, which is giving me a new lease on life. Enduring the long process of the injury only enhanced the need for a change of career as my current line of work was going to be no more.

This is when our online journey began. We found that we could generate income streams online & build them to the point that I would not have to work for a boss ever again. We could create our future the way we wanted.

The initial start in the digital world was in Affiliate Marketing and Forex Trading, things we are still involved in. But there was still a need for more. I had developed a passion for helping others with the knowledge I had been acquiring over the years and the online world was no different.

There have been several occasions throughout my life that I have worked for myself but each one of them was high in manual labour.

My passion for the digital world was growing so this ultimately led to the creation of Double T Marketing.

Creating a business such as this is fulfilling several passions of mine at the same time, the love of helping others grow and riding my Harley.

Who is Kat

I am a mum to 3 beautiful kids Mitchell, Cameron & Makenna, and mum to my angel baby Peyton, Step mum to 2 older kids and a nanny to 5 gorgeous granddaughters and a handsome grandson.

Growing up on a sheep and cattle farm in north-western NSW with 3 brothers, life as a kid was fun and hard at the same time. Being on a farm, we had to do our fair share to help the place run.

I completed my schooling at the local school until year 10 and years 11 & 12 were spent at boarding school in QLD.

After finishing school, I naturally chose one of the 2 options that were expected of us in those days, went on to University at which I completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in Hospitality Management.

Once my 3 years of university were done & dusted, I found a job. Mind you, this job was in Tasmania at beautiful Cradle Mountain Lodge. So, I packed up my little Toyota Starlet and drove to Melbourne to catch the Spirit of Tasmania boat. A trip I will never forget….

I spent about a year there before I decided to try something different. So again, I packed up my little car, jumped on the boat back to the mainland and made my way up to far north QLD…Mossman to be exact, to work at Silky Oaks Lodge.

After 7 months up in North Queensland the hotter weather got the better of me, so I decided to go back to Tasmania & Cradle Mountain Lodge again (big adventures for a small-town country girl).

This time I was there for another 2 years before I got itchy feet again, hitting the road once to believe it or not, back to North QLD...this time 5 hours west of Cairns at a Resort on a cattle station, Wrotham Park Lodge.

After 18 months here it was time to hit the road once again as this time, I was expecting a little bundle of joy, my firstborn, Mitchell.

Tamborine Mountain/Beaudesert area of QLD was my new destination, where I (surprisingly) spent the next 4 years. During that time, I had my second born, Cameron plus went through a marriage breakup. Exciting and rough times.

I eventually moved back to the little town in NSW where I grew up. I scored a job working in the Aged Care industry which was a welcome change from Hospitality. In 2011, I met my soulmate and partner in crime Craig.

In 2018 we welcomed our little girl into our lives (our little IVF angel), and this is when I realised that I wanted more from life than just eat/sleep/work repeat. I wanted to spend more time with my kids and no more missing out.

In 2019 we had the tragic misfortune of losing our 2nd baby, Peyton, at 20 weeks gestation. It was a heartbreaking time as you can imagine.

Realising that the only way to achieve the lifestyle that I wanted (well both of us actually) was to take the leap out of my comfort zone and venture into the online world, as it is the way of the future which is the best (and smartest) decision I have made.

And from this decision, Double T Marketing was born.

Fear is a reaction. Courage is a decision.
